1. Who we are, and what these terms cover

withtimer.com is operated by Human Layer Technologies, Lisbon, Portugal, referred to below as Timer or we. These terms govern your use of this website: its pages, research, glossary, log and forms. The Timer product itself is provided under separate agreements established with each organization during onboarding; nothing on this site constitutes those agreements.

2. Site content

The content of this site (text, design, diagrams, code) is the property of Human Layer Technologies unless stated otherwise, and is provided for information. You may quote it with attribution and a link. You may not republish substantial portions, present it as your own, or use it to train commercial products without written permission.

3. The research

The five Human Layer papers are published open access on Zenodo under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence (CC BY 4.0): you may share and adapt them, for any purpose, provided you give appropriate credit and indicate changes. Each paper's DOI is the citable record. The full text mirrored on this site is provided for convenience; the licence travels with it.

4. Forms and submissions

When you submit a form on this site (access request, research updates signup, application), you confirm the information is accurate and yours to give. What we do with submitted data, and your rights over it, are set out in the Privacy Policy. Automated, bulk or deceptive submissions are prohibited and are filtered.

5. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, probe or breach its security, scrape it at abusive rates, or misrepresent your affiliation with Timer. AI crawlers are welcome within the boundaries set in our robots.txt and llms.txt.

6. No warranties, no advice

The site is provided as is. The research and any figures shown reflect our findings and our operations at the time of writing and are not legal, financial or compliance advice for your organization. We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it is error-free or uninterrupted.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Human Layer Technologies is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Portuguese law.

8. Third-party links

The site links to third parties (for example DOI records on Zenodo, or LinkedIn). Those destinations have their own terms; we are not responsible for their content.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and material changes are noted in the Log. These terms are governed by Portuguese law, with the courts of Lisbon having jurisdiction.
