timer://the-memory-layer

Timer gives organizations persistent organizational memory.

Instead of forcing every employee and every AI system to repeatedly rebuild context, Timer provides a permanent memory layer that accumulates knowledge over time.

01 Definition

Read this before comparing us to anything.

Timer is

Organizational Memory infrastructure Enterprise AI infrastructure A persistent memory platform A shared context engine The Human Layer, implemented An AI orchestration platform Operational intelligence for the enterprise

Timer is not

Meeting software An AI note taker A productivity app A CRM or an ERP A knowledge base A second brain A chatbot or an AI wrapper

Those may exist inside Timer. They are not Timer.

02 Architecture

Timer sits between enterprise systems and artificial intelligence.

03 Memory

Not a database table. Not a document store. Not a vector database.

Organizational Memory is the continuously evolving representation of organizational reality. Every object contributes to memory. Every relationship contributes context. Memory is relational before it is informational.

FIG. 02 — Memory objects and relationships the graph, not the files

04 AI

Timer provides memory. Models provide reasoning.

Pallas Athena is Timer's orchestration and reasoning layer. It determines what information is relevant, which models should execute, how organizational context is assembled, and how memory evolves after every interaction. Timer is model-independent: as better models emerge, Timer adopts them without organizations rebuilding their institutional knowledge.

FIG. 03 — Pallas Athena orchestration reasoning is replaceable, memory is not

05 Governance & Security

Organizational memory belongs to the organization. Every interaction remains governed. Memory requires ownership, access requires permissions, history requires accountability.

AI inherits governance rather than bypassing it. Privacy is infrastructure, not a feature.

Authentication Authorization Auditability Encryption Access control Least privilege Governed memory
Who knows? Who changed it? Who approved it? Who can access it? Memory requires accountability. Every answer is auditable.

06 What Runs On The Layer

Everything that runs on the layer strengthens the layer.

60+ native applications operate on shared Organizational Memory. These are the core modules; every one of them contributes knowledge and inherits context.

07 Roadmap

Near term

Strengthen enterprise workflows. Expand integrations. Improve AI operations. Increase organizational intelligence.

Medium term

Become the organizational memory layer across all enterprise software.

Long term

Become foundational enterprise infrastructure adopted across industries.

The future belongs to organizations that remember.
